CITY CENTER DOHA

Currently the largest mall in Qatar, City Centre Doha has over 370 stores and 64 restaurants spread across five levels. The mall has everything one would expect of a modern, luxury shopping center, including grocery stores, an ice rink, financial services, a 14-screen cinema, government services, retail stores, and a First Fitness gymnasium. It located in close proximity to the Corniche in the West bay area and has over 2,000 parking spaces for visitors.

VILLAGIO

One of the more modest malls in Qatar is Villagio, with 100,000 sqm of GLA and 220 shops. While some of the newer malls may be somewhat larger, it is only the Villagio that can boast of having an indoor theme park, Gondolania, which is spread across 22,000 sqm. The park includes children’s rides, bumper cars Sky Loop, horror street ride, a state-of-the-art bowling alley, go-kart racing, a 4D cinema, and the latest arcade games. It also hosts the only IMAX cinema in Qatar and an Olympic-sized ice-skating rink. As the name indicates, the mall has an Italian theme, and visitors can take a ride on gondolas for a romantic trip through the mall weaving past fellow shoppers.

LANDMARK

Another themed mall is Landmark, designed in the style of a Qatari castle. The mall hosts many major international brands, including Marks & Spencer, BHS, Carrefour, Zara, H&M, and Virgin Megastores. The shopping center has a GLA of 58,000 sqm, after undergoing two significant expansions since it opening in 2005. It holds anything a shopper would need, including a food court, cinema, and Circus Land, an entertainment zone for both adults and children.
