Savaş Uzan was born in Turkey in 1969 and graduated in Engineering from Yıldız University. He has been the CEO of Azersun Holding since 2013, as well as a Member of the Board of Directors since 2008.
The company has been around for more than two decades, during which time numerous changes have taken place. It is particularly gratifying that these changes are for the better. A highly competitive market has emerged in Azerbaijan over the years. This, in turn, has paved the way for the production of goods that would be competitive in foreign markets. The development of Azersun is closely intertwined with the development of Azerbaijan as a whole.
As one of Azerbaijan’s first private companies, Azersun has played a tremendous role in private enterprise development. By putting high-quality and affordable products on the local market, Azersun has set an example for other companies to follow. Over the years competition in the market has only intensified, as all companies strive to meet customer demand in a more efficient manner. This is a win-win situation for the country’s private sector and consumers.
Azersun Holding has very ambitious plans for the near future. Major steps are being taken in Azerbaijan these days to improve the wellbeing of the population. We are creating jobs. Azersun Holding exports its products to different countries around the world, thus promoting Azerbaijan internationally.
