SMASCO was established in Riyadh in 2012 and has grown to cover the entire Kingdom. The company was founded to address the growing needs of expatriate labor coming into Saudi Arabia and to meet the requirements of the Saudi government related to HR companies. While the sector was in its humble beginnings at the time, the concept of individual sponsorship for domestic workers was an entirely novel one in Saudi Arabia. Indeed, in 2022 we celebrate our 10th anniversary as the market leader in Saudi human capital management. We have consistently strived to establish SMASCO as the preferred choice for workers seeking an improved work environment in Saudi Arabia. They have the assurance that their rights will be upheld and that they will find a fulfilling and prosperous job within the country. This is a huge responsibility. Every year, we introduce specific services, policies, and procedures favoring workers, companies, and our clients. SMASCO strives to be a brand that everyone knows among human resources companies. Our reputation is based on our services to local and international companies.
We serve all industries in Saudi Arabia, such as Construction, healthcare, Energy, logistics, retail services, and hotels, restaurants, and catering (HORECA). In 2023, we introduced business development department for each sector aiming to understand the specifics of the industry and help us excel our services. We began with the medical sector, HORECA, logistics, energy, and construction sectors. We have noticed more positive signs with our specialized business development team because they can serve our customers better. We have a huge overseas recruitment department, hiring 10,000-15,000 people yearly for businesses, with an additional 7,000-8,000 people for domestic work. Adding those together, we hire around 18,000-20,000 people a year. In terms of our business operations, we have a dedicated professional responsible for overseeing our international department and recruiting personnel who align with our client’s specific needs. This sets us apart in the market since we are the only company with this level of specialization. Our recruitment process will thoroughly evaluate candidates with specialized skills to ensure they are the perfect match for our clients’ distinctive job roles.
