ON THE MAP

The hotel opened up its doors in September 2011, and the most important thing for us during the first months of activity is to put the hotel in the market. The name is already well known, because we are a worldwide brand.

TIME FOR BUSINESS

We are strongly developing the business segment of our operations, because we want to become a leading company in the sector. We have 20 meeting rooms, and we are one of the only hotels in the country with a large amphitheater with the capacity for more than 500 people.

FULL HOUSE

Kempinski Hotel Badamdar will be full during Eurovision 2012, a very important event for the whole country. We have developed a reasonable and competitive price policy during events like the song competition.

General Manager, Grand Hotel Europe

GLOBAL ICON

Sheraton has a very strong reputation with more than 400 properties in 75 countries. Sheraton is one of the largest, most global, and iconic hotel brands in the world. Sheraton stands for a warm welcome and creates a sense of community among travellers who want to stay connected while on the road.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

At the Sheraton Baku Airport Hotel, we focus on our key strategic location at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Every new arrival first sees the Sheraton hotel, and thus we will help to shape their very initial impressions of the country.

NEVER BEFORE

The Eurovision Song Contest, the world’s largest non-sporting television event, typically attracts more than 100 million viewers and represents an extraordinary opportunity to showcase this beautiful country under the kind of spotlight that it has never experienced before.

FRESH FACED

We did a large refreshing for the whole hotel and its facilities last year. In addition, we invested a lot in the development of our standards to be more international and achieve further success.

THIS IS THE YEAR

The tourism sector in Azerbaijan has rapidly developed in the last few years, and naming 2011 as the “Year of Tourism“ importantly boosted such development, when the government successfully started implementing large projects; some of them already completed.

MORE THAN THAT

The Eurovision Song Contest itself will certainly attract a lot of additional tourists to Azerbaijan. Visitors will see that the country has more to show than just its oil and gas industry.
