What were Safe Life’s main goals when it was established in 2007?

The basic principles of Safe Life’s activity are to ensure fire safety, to arrange training for fire prevention and emergency situations, and to avoid casualties and the loss of material possessions. It is noteworthy that the goals set during the establishment of the company have been achieved. However, it was not easy to achieve because citizens are inexperienced in this sphere, and this fact considerably complicated the situation. Over the years we have widened the scope of our services and today we can declare with confidence that our company can render highly professional services both in fire and alarm protection systems, including not only detection, but also solutions, by means of gas, water, and foam firefighting systems. We can also find complex technical solutions for all kind of projects, providing clients with complete fire-fighting systems including alarms, extinguishers, ventilation, access control, fire doors, notification systems, and evacuation equipment.

How has Safe Life contributed to improving fire safety in Azerbaijan?

After independence, the country was still dependent on fire prevention systems built on Russian norms and rules. At present, the sector is being reconstructed and the standards are being updated. Now, European standards, as well as some modern Russian standards, are in play.

How closely do you cooperate with Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations?

We have very close business relations with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and we make great effort to justify the trust that the Ministry has placed in us. We are the only company in Azerbaijan that owns all four licenses necessary for the design, installation, manufacture, and sale of fire safety equipment. Along with the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other state organizations, there are many private engineering firms and organizations that we count among our clients.

Since the company imports security products from Turkey and Europe, what potential has Azerbaijan to become a producer of such products?

We import security products from different countries, including Germany, Austria, the UK, the US, Spain, Italy, Japan, Turkey, and Russia. We then offer them to our customers. They fully comply with the quality standards we require, which at the end of the day is one of the main goals of our company. We provide the best quality to our clients and gain their trust and satisfaction. Manufacturing is among our future goals. We would be thrilled to offer our clients products made in Azerbaijan. At the moment, we are working hard on this issue, and want to be ready for this task in the future.

How do you plan to expand the company from this point on?

One of the main goals of Safe Life is to focus on ensuring the non-stop and efficient operation of surveillance systems on the Absheron Peninsula. Our customers’ facilities remain under surveillance 24/7. This is one aspect that has led us to receive requests from all corners of the country. In the near future, we plan to expand our range of services in centralized monitoring and carry out surveillance in all the regions of the country. Finally, we plan to expand to international markets, and at the moment we are working on a strategy to introduce new equipment. We expect to soon export fire cabinets and fire extinguishers manufactured by Safe Life in Azerbaijan.
