"We have a partnership with the California-based biotech firm Endocanna Health, which has developed a super chip for decoding the human genome."
Maven Hemp has partnered with VetCann to expand into the animal health market in Colombia, especially in Latin America, offering a range of innovative CBD-related veterinary products.
Why did Maven Hemp partner with Endocanna Health, and how will this revolutionize the market?

We have a partnership with the California-based biotech firm Endocanna Health, which has developed a super chip for decoding the human genome. This is a powerful tool to tell patients how much cannabinoids to use, which cannabinoids to use, and in what ratios. The bulk of the CBD and hemp-derived products on the market are simplistic in nature, CBD plus a carrier oil. Instead, what we are creating are products aligned with the genetic markers that appear in people for sleep, anxiety, and pain. There is also a formula for low energy and anxiety, and an immune formula as well. This aspect of the business is revolutionary in that it creates a better patient care model as well as a better model for consumers, as there are people struggling with how to dose themselves for many conditions. The proof of it working is that we have a major client in Brazil, and each month the volume demanded is increasing. We also have our first very large order going to Costa Rica as well as interest from a major distributor in France and Mexico. Doctors from all over are interested because they have never seen this unique technology before.

How is Maven Hemp exploring new horizons through its partnership with VetCann of Colombia?

It will put us on the map in the animal health market, especially in Latin America, because VetCann has already expanded across six countries in Latin America, Australia, and in Spain. In Colombia, I was particularly impressed by working with a veterinarian/neurologist who adapted our metered dose inhaler to treat epileptic dogs and who has been ordering veterinary products from Maven for several years. The doctor invited me to the Congress of Veterinarians in Colombia CBD conference (CVDC) in Pereira. There was a whole day devoted to cannabinoid science and animals and specialists on canines, felines, zoo animals, and farm animals, especially endocrinologists, neurologists, and rheumatologists. These experts were dissecting, studying, and publishing at an impressive pace and with staggering dedication. They are training veterinarians across Latin America and have a full calendar for the year of virtual and in-person events. There are 300 hours of training available to interested vets, with the diploma program hosted by the university in Colombia that Maven offers scholarships to. An online option is also available. These specialists are therefore in the process of sharing the best practices in animal wellness and health. We have signed a five-year contract with VetCann to be its R&D and product partner and support it at VetCann events. It chose to work with us while seeking the most cutting-edge wellness products for animals. We have a well-planned pet line and a veterinary line with a current total of 16 SKUs, including the latest nose and paw balm, as well as CBD honey. We have a range of innovative veterinary products. We already distribute inhalers, which is a proven and efficacious delivery method for epileptic animals. And we have 18-hour time-release patches used for post-surgery recovery. One is a CBD patch and the other is formulated with glucosamine, and chondroitin. And we also offer an electrolyte shot for horses to enhance their coats and prevent skin conditions. In addition, we are innovating other product lines and have a pet relief tincture coming out of the DNA line, namely CBD, CBDB, CBG, and CBN plus terpenes and essential oils. This is part of our new pet tincture lineup that we are presenting in 300-mg, 1,000-mg, and 2,500-mg doses. We are making our wellness treatments fun as well, with, for example, a toothpaste-like tube with peanut butter and CBD in it for dogs and cats. We are blessed to be able to help thousands of veterinarians improve the health and wellness of in immeasurable number of animals in homes, on farms, and in zoos.
