INSIGHTS AND STRATEGIES FOR MEETING FINANCING GAPS FOR PPPS AND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

The 2nd annual international PPP Finance Summit 2019 will provide a detailed analysis into the global investment opportunities and challenges of financing of Private-Public Partnership projects that are critical for closing the infrastructure gap. With government funding and the availability of private capital to support such partnerships this leads to the way to creating sustainable infrastructure and increasing the economic growth rate.

In order to achieve these objectives this forum will explore various lending strategies, ways to mobilise private capital, perspectives of all stakeholders involved such as sponsors and portfolio investors and discussing the evolving relationships in emerging markets and PPPs in transitions economies. Our 2019 Forum will bring together policy makers in the infrastructure investment, financing and professional service experts and decision makers in the PPP and infrastructure ecosystem who will provide insights from MENA, Asia –pacific, Europe and America, ensuring that this forum will present the best ways of structuring the financing of Public- Partnership Projects.

On the last day of the summit two international country focused workshops will be taking place on the 4th of July featuring two emerging countries within the PPP Sector; Bangladesh and Uzbekistan.

The first workshop is designed to highlight the opportunities that exist across multiple sectors in Bangladesh. It will be led by senior government officials including the PPP Authority and Prime Minister’s office. It’s a unique opportunity to network with decision makers, investors and the wider international community.

The second workshop will present an opportunity to also hear from senior officials directly involved in the PPP programme. The agenda will include a presentation on the status of PPP projects and sector specific opportunities for local and international companies, interested in Uzbekistan.
