TBY, Invest in Bogotá, and Colombia’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism announce strategic partnership

Bogotá, October 2019—TBY, Colombia’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, and Invest in Bogotá signed a new MoU, confirming their partnership for The Business Year: Colombia 2020, TBY’s eighth publication on Colombia’s economy.

In association with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism and Invest in Bogotá, TBY will continue its research to provide the most realistic and accurate coverage of major investment opportunities in every sector.

With over 150 face-to-face interviews with public officials and top corporate executives from all over Colombia, The Business Year: Colombia 2020 will feature first-hand insights from all the key players in the Colombian economy to send a direct message to a global audience through various interactive media platforms. The publication will highlight the main economic trends, the pace and impact of the reforms undertaken by the current government, and the various investment opportunities on offer for the global business community. This edition will particularly focus on the PPP framework, the growing demand for LNG, the implementation of new techniques for hydrocarbon exploration, the national strategy for electric and sustainable mobility, the pact for entrepreneurship and productivity, and new trends in agriculture, including the medical cannabis sector.
