TBY has signed a MoU with the Costa Rican-American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) on a research partnership for the upcoming edition of The Business Year: Costa Rica 2017. The MoU was signed In San José by Dennis Whitelaw, AmCham’s President, and Yamila Ortiz, Country Manager of TBY Costa Rica. During the signing was also present Alberto Arguedes, Executive Director of AmCham.

TBY and AmCham will organize in November a roundtable with selected firms with vast experience in Costa Rica. The roundtable will result in a deep analysis of the economy, and its main challenges and expectations for 2017.

Yamila Ortiz said, “AmCham Costa Rica has been part the Costa Rican economy for over 40 years with currently more than 365 members. This partnership will help to build the most comprehensive publication of Costa Rica to date.” Whitelaw also said, “We will work together to move Costa Rica up and show the best for the country.”

AmCham Costa Rica has been a constantly growing and evolving organization for more than 40 years and one of the strongest chambers because of how mixed it is with its membership base. Not just commercial activities, but also those in industry, pharmaceuticals, and tourism.

TBY is conducting more than 150 face-to-face interviews during the production of The Business Year: Costa Rica 2017. The edition will reach a targeted global audience through its print edition as well as its highly circulated digital versions available via iPad, iPhone, and Android applications.
