TBY signs partnership with British Business Group-Tanzania

The Business Year (TBY) has signed a partnership agreement with the British Business Group-Tanzania (BBG) designed to enhance the activities of both groups in Tanzania.
The partnership, which was cemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday, May 29th, demonstrates the commitment of both groups to improving the local economic landscape, through, in this case, the production of TBY’s fourth edition on Tanzania, a comprehensive publication aimed at boosting FDI and shedding light on opportunities for business in the country.
The MoU was signed by Kalpesh Mehta, Vice Chair of the BBG, and Petra Augustinova, Country Manager for Tanzania. Mehta expressed the BBG’s keenness to embark on the future partnership that would bring multiple benefits to both parties. Augustinova, meanwhile, said, “I am thrilled to be working alongside one of Tanzania’s most well-respected and well-integrated business organizations.”
The BBG Tanzania works with other civil society stakeholders to improve the business environment and economic potential of Tanzania through networking and advocacy.
TBY’s latest edition on the Tanzanian economy The Business Year: Tanzania 2018 will feature interviews with more than 100 leading executives and government ministers from the local economy, providing direct insights into market growth and trends. TBY’s first-hand research reaches key international investors and members of the global business community, targeting international financial institutions, international corporations, investors, accountancy firms, industrial conglomerates, and governmental organizations. The Tanzania publication will be distributed extensively, both domestically and globally, and will reach an even larger audience via its basket of digital platforms.
