The Business Year pens MoU with Invest in Sharjah

The Business Year, a global media group that has been providing investors, businesses, and governments with first-hand insights into the world’s most dynamic markets for 15 years, has signed an a MoU with Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah), Sharjah’s investment promotion agency.

This collaboration represents a promising step toward exploring and providing visibility to the investment opportunities within Sharjah’s business landscape, culminating in the release of The Business Year : Sharjah 2024/25.

During a dynamic discussion, Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of Invest in Sharjah, shared insights into the organization’s strategic initiatives aimed at boosting inward FDI into the Emirate. In alignment with the UAE’s overall investment growth, Sharjah sets an ambitious target to attract AED550 billion by 2031. The compelling value proposition is anchored in Sharjah’s strategic location, flourishing growth sectors, business-friendly environment, and robust government support. Sharjah’s start-up ecosystem also flourishes with initiatives like the Emerging Entrepreneurs program, fostering comprehensive development.

While Sharjah has diversified in sectors like culture, logistics, and technology, the focus is on next-gen technologies, including AI, 3D printing, and financial services.
