The Business Year signs MoU with US-Qatar Business Council

The Business Year, a global media group that has been providing investors, businesses, and governments with first-hand insights into the world’s most dynamic markets for over a decade, is proud to announce the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the US-Qatar Business Council in Doha (USQBC), which took place on May 30, 2023, at the USQBC’s Doha offices.

According to the agreement, TBY and USQBC will work together on research for upcoming publication The Business Year: Qatar 2024. The publication is set to be a valuable resource for investors, business leaders, and policymakers who seek in-depth knowledge about Qatar’s investment opportunities in the Gulf country. The publication will highlight Qatar’s key competitive strengths in the post-World Cup environment and toward its Vision 2030 ambitions.

Sheikha Mayes bint Hamad Al-Thani, the Managing Director of USQBC’s Doha office, expressed her delight at establishing this strategic partnership, saying; “This collaboration allows us to leverage both of our expertise and resources to contribute toward the development of a highly informative publication that will showcase Qatar’s vibrant business landscape and investment potential to a global audience.”

Vanessa Rameix, TBY’s Qatar Country Manager, also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and the possibilities it brings, saying; “This alliance allows us to enhance our coverage and deliver comprehensive and up-to-date information on the ever-evolving business opportunities in Qatar, a country that continues to embrace innovation and economic diversification.”

The Business Year: Qatar 2024 will be distributed both inside and outside the country and will reach an even wider audience via key business information platforms such as Bloomberg Terminal, Refinitiv Eikon, Dow Jones Factiva, and FactSet, as well as PressReader and Google Books.
